Job Summary
Massage Therapist opportunity (Full Time or Part Time) to provide relaxation and therapeutic massage services in a professional, established, busy, rehabilitation setting. He/she can work as an associate or an independent contractor. He/she must be able to work in multi-disciplinary practice with Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants, other Massage Therapists, Laser Technicians, Exercise Therapists, and professional office staff. The physiotherapy clinics have passed accreditation by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for the highest standards of quality care.

- Good verbal and written communicator

The anticipated schedule for this 18 month contract role is 3 PM – 8 PM, four days per week including Saturdays. The clinic is located near Kenaston Common on Nature Parkway Blvd, and is accessible by Winnipeg Transit.
Lifemark Physiotherapy Nature Parkway offers physiotherapy, massage, athletic therapy, chiropractic, occupational and hand therapy, as well as a vestibular rehabilitation program for patients in Winnipeg. Interesting fact – we are the official provider of rehabilitation services for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet!
As an Office Assistant you are passionate about your work and perform with a high level of energy, reliability and pride. Customers and coworkers alike look forward to their interactions with you. Your administrative work is thorough, organized and detail-oriented. You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new software applications quickly. You have a solid command of the English language and excellent communication skills. Your work experience demonstrates success in providing customer service and strong administrative support.
Responsibilities include:
Answering the telephone, greeting, and assisting clients
Responding to inquiries and helping clients with problems
Processing incoming and outgoing mail, courier and faxes
Providing administrative support under the direction and support of the office manager and clinic director
Monitoring and ordering office and clinic supplies
Assisting with photocopier/fax maintenance
Qualifications:
In-person and Telephonic customer service experience, ideally from a medical clinic setting
Understanding of medical terminology is an asset
Health-related educational background is preferred

Massage Therapy Instructor - Robertson College Winnipeg
Robertson College Winnipeg requires a part-time instructor for our Massage Therapy program. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of industry experience. Active membership with the Manitoba Association of Massage Therapists is preferred. Graduates of this program are prepared to work as Massage Therapists in a variety of settings which include physiotherapy or sports injury clinics, fitness and wellness centers, chiropractic practices or even independently.
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for delivering course content in a dynamic and engaging manner; recording student attendance and student marks; designing, implementing and correcting assignments/projects; and actively contribute to updating course curriculum. Instructors will observe and adhere to all company polices and best practices.
